Idea
Public ID, Namespace and URL handle are only shown because developers copy them into a terminal. A Connect button gives ready-to-run commands for the CLI, kubectl and remote dev with the IDs already filled in. The visible header only keeps the facts people actually read.
Details
- The Remote dev tab appears only when remote dev is allowed. The kubectl tab appears only on a cluster the user can reach, so not on a hosted region.
- The raw IDs are still listed at the bottom of the panel.
- Click Connect to open the panel.
Trade-offs
- It only helps developers. Managers and viewers never open it, which is fine.
- The command strings need to track CLI changes. The commands here are examples.
